Hey friends, I’m Jasmin
– a writer, intuitive Tarot reader, and podcaster.
My Approach to Tarot
I’m guessing you probably already know a little bit about Tarot. But since every reader uses the cards a little differently, allow me to give you the essence of how I approach the practice.
I believe the Tarot is a tool for healing and life guidance, and I’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact it can have on our lives. It’s a powerful mirror that reflects back to us everything we already know but may have trouble seeing clearly in everyday life.
Many readers, myself included, see the Tarot as something that’s given their life a deeper purpose. Something that found them, rather than the other way around. Some even see the Tarot as the thing that saved them; I certainly do.
I began my Tarot journey with deep self-education, before studying with Lindsay Mack and her programs: Tarot For The Wild Soul & Trauma and the Tarot. Both of these paths have encouraged and empowered me to see the Tarot through a soul and heart-centred lens, where each card has the power to offer us deep medicine and potentially life-changing healing.
That means I don’t believe there are “good” or “bad” cards; life cannot be broken down into such simple terms and neither can the Tarot.
Allowing me to be even a small part of your journey is something I am deeply honoured by and take very seriously. There is zero judgment in this virtual space. I welcome all those who seek guidance regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, kinks, favourite TV shows, and even if you don’t like Beyoncé – cause, I mean, that only makes your life less fabulous.
For me, the Tarot isn’t about predicting the future, but instead, a means for connecting deeper with our present. A method of starting a dialogue. A way of tapping into this very moment in order to understand how best to move forward. The story depicted in every card is just the jumping-off point – each of those stories can empower us to take back the reigns of our own narratives and forge ahead with renewed confidence.
